Why did you come to the centre?
"When I first came to the Audition du Biterrois centre, I already had hearing aids. They were faulty, and Fiona took care of me.
I was recommended by Julien, my physio; he knew Fiona and spoke highly of her, so I was curious. I was new to Béziers, and so was she, so it was a chance for us to meet."

"My aids were already five years old, and I was starting to be less satisfied. Fiona showed me other aids, and I was sceptical at first. Then she offered me a one-month, no-obligation trial so I could compare them. At the end of the trial, I found the new aids more comfortable."

"In June 2017, after several months of hearing discomfort due to early hearing loss, I decided to get hearing aids.
This process, which I perceived as difficult because it represented a sign of ageing and a certain resignation for me, was made easier by the welcome, attentiveness, and empathy of Fiona FOULON and her assistant. I was able to express myself freely, voice my fears, and also discuss what I perceived as a disability.
And then, Fiona FOULON helped me to put things into perspective and normalise the situation; my hearing aids aren't visible, no one notices them with my hairstyle.
In fact, there are also invisible ones."

Today, I'm satisfied that I took the step, because I hear better and it no longer requires any effort to understand what's being said. I now accept these hearing aids because, for me, they are like a pair of glasses; useful and essential."
